Conhecemos o Leonel através de um anúncio no Idealista. Gostámos imediatamente da casa que nos mostrou e, após alguma negociação, conseguimos avançar para o primeiro passo da compra do imóvel: o CPCV. Através de uma troca de e-mails, ficámos a saber que a assinatura do CPCV seria feita digitalmente e que, posteriormente, teríamos de proceder à transferência bancária do sinal para a vendedora. Alguns dias após o envio do CPCV assinado e da respetiva transferência bancária, recebemos uma mensagem do Leonel a informar que a vendedora não teria recebido o montante. Ao comparar o nosso CPCV e o da agência percebemos que tínhamos sido vítimas de uma burla, frequentemente apelidada de "man in the middle". No próprio dia, acompanhados pelo Leonel, apresentámos queixa na Polícia Judiciária, mas rapidamente percebemos que seria muito difícil recuperar o nosso dinheiro. Sabendo que, apesar do sucedido, não queríamos abdicar daquela que seria a nossa casa de sonho, o Leonel prontificou-se a encontrar uma solução. Apesar de ter sido uma situação muito difícil e inesperada para todos, consideramos que a sua presença e disponibilidade foram essenciais para a resolução do problema.
